The Keller ISD is proud to boast two National Blue Ribbon Schools of Excellence, 27 TEA Exemplary and Recognized schools and the 2007 Texas State Secondary Teacher of the Year. The Keller ISD believes that education is a partnership among schools, parents and the community.
Keller ISD has 35 campuses serving more than 30,000 students. Enrollment in Keller ISD has more than doubled during the past 10 years and is expected to rise to more than 40,000 during the next decade, making the district one of the fastest-growing school districts in Texas.
To help accommodate this growth, the district has opened 23 new schools since 2000, including a third high school in 2003. The community approved a bond proposal in November 2006 that will allow for the construction of a fourth high school, set to open its doors in 2009.
